How to stop yelling and connect with your kids when they are at their worst - Practical ways to build emotion regulation
Losing patience and yelling at kids?
Well, I did. In fact, so many times especially when I was a first-time mom.
Temper tantrums and getting our kids to listen are one of the reasons that lead to yelling. Yet we feel so guilty after that.
Whenever we experience tantrums and facing difficulties in getting our kids to listen, they are actually trying to communicate to us.
Thus, when we are equipped with parenting knowledge that is backed by neuroscience and research, we are empowered to be confident parent.
Through the power of connection, our kids feel safe and calm and that's when we are able to take the opportunity to teach them valuable life skills.
